uncreative day...no subject
February 22nd, 2005 11:11 am

My sister ran away yesterday, she hasn't called and I haven't been able to get ahold of her. She left with her friend.

If anyone knows how to hack into someone's hotmail or livejournal please let me know.. I know it's an invasion on privacy but I need to know if she is meeting up with some creep on the internet.

Sorry about the font..

i feel: curious   toones: Cevin Key~Frozen Sky

Hello. I have had a couple of Giger prints for a long time, but never really got seriously interested in his work until recently. I'm not a huge art whore but, I am slowly becoming more interested. I am looking to learn more about Mr. Giger's work as well as other surealists. Recommendations are appriciated. As well as any information on where I could possibly get a Giger LJ icon. Thank you kindly:D

Giger is one of the most talented artists I've ever had the pleasure of viewing, each intimate stroke forced my mind in too many directions to describe. I just found this community thus new, I'm glad to have found people as infatuated as I.

Dark Artwork by James Hockridge
November 22nd, 2004 01:40 am

Hi all - It has been said that my other half's artwork has very visible Giger influences and he is also a huge fan and in that case i thought you might be interested......................This is a pretty
big post so be prepared - ok for starters my other half is an extremely
talented professionsl artist - but you'll see that in a moment, most of the pieces
are what will eventually make up the characters and places in James's
Graphic Novel "The Flesh Engine Chronicles" - prior to setting up our
website and subsequent shop we wanted to see what the internet response
would be so without further ado the following pieces are available:

High res backgrounds
November 10th, 2004 10:50 am

Hello all, I run my desktop at 1280x1024 (highest my monitor can go) and I would like some high res scans of giger art to use as a desktop background. Does anyone have any 1280x1024 or higher? I got all the ones from the official site.

H.R. Giger Li II figure.
November 8th, 2004 10:22 pm

Hi all, I'm new to this group. I have been a big fan of H.R. Giger since forever especially of his work for Alien.
I got the McFarlane Li II figure the other day finally. I had this mini scuplture pre-ordered for about 4 months and it had been released this month but the place I had ordered it from (ebgames) didn't seem to be getting it in stock so I ordered it from gamestop instead. When I recieved it I was surprised because the face actually has more detail than in the prototype. I put it on top of my center chanell speaker on my TV and have been admiring it ever since.

i feel: artistic   toones: Tool and A Perfect Circle

Hi all. I'm new here... thought I would join and chat about artists like giger as well as show my work around to those who like dark art. My website is www.nwjones.com If you like Giger you might be interested in my "Bizarre series" of huge pencil works that I am currently doing.

My latest drawing for the series is frailty:

A few others in the bizarre series are:

I also have some animation stuff up on the site as well. I’m trying to produce a short film using Maya 3D. Might take a while!

I visited Gigers gallery in Switzerland a few years back. I was like a big kid in a candy store. Great to see them up close.
